Stopped by Granite skatepark on Friday 5/15/09 and found it closed for improvements.  From talking with one of the construction workers, the improvements are replacing the main entrance gate with a turnstile entrance, along with adding two new turnstile entrances along the back fence.

Stopped by and had a look at, and skated a little at the Mather Field skatepark in Rancho Cordova today. Predominantly a techie “street” park,  it was fun and good for it’s intended purpose. Very nice park environment…
